Gallaudet's Hannah Neild selected to All-NEAC first team

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) released its 2017-18 women's basketball all-conference awards Thursday and Gallaudet University junior guard/forward Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) was named to the first team.

This is Neild's first All-NEAC honor since she joined Gallaudet after playing two seasons at Merrimack College. Neild is one of the top scorers in NCAA Division III women's basketball this year as she ranks third in the country in scoring (23.6) and points (614). She earned a conference best four NEAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors this season and was named to the Team of the Week on Feb. 2.

SUNY Poly senior forward Khristaijah Johnson was named NEAC Player of the Year as she ranks third in the NEAC in scoring and earned one NEAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor. Morrisville State College freshman guard Alexis Campbell was named NEAC Rookie of the Year. Keuka College coach Gary Broadhurst was picked as NEAC Coach of the Year by his peers.

The Bison have eight All-NEAC honors since joining the conference in 2010-11.
