GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) released its 2018-19 women's basketball all-conference awards Thursday and Gallaudet University was well represented as the Bison took home two major awards and had two All-NEAC selections.

Senior guard/forward Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) was named the NEAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year as she makes a return appearance on the all-conference first team. Fellow senior guard Sabina Shysh (Tucson, Ariz.) was selected to the all-conference second team for the first time in her career. Coach Stephanie Stevens was voted by her peers as NEAC Coach of the Year for the first time in her career after leading the Bison to their best regular season in her seven-year tenure.
