WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team will participate in the second annual #PlayWithPride week, sponsored by the United Soccer Coaches LGBT & Allies Advocacy Group, on Wednesday, Sept. 19, by wearing rainbow laces during its match against Penn St.-Abington at 5 p.m.
Teams across the country are showing their support for athletes and coaches of all sexual orientations by wearing rainbow laces during the Second Annual Play With Pride Week during Sept. 17-23, 2018.
Support for Play With Pride comes from a variety of locations, including the United Soccer Coaches Foundation. Sustainability for this event is imperative for diversity and inclusion of coaches and players alike.
