This is Neild's first appearance on the women's soccer all-conference team but she is no stranger to NEAC all-conference teams. Neild was last year's NEAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year and an all-conference selection in softball.
Neild ranks 15th in NCAA Division III for shots per game (5.94), 38th in shots per game (2.88), 42nd in points per game (2.18), 46th in goals (15), goals per game (0.88) and 48th in total points (37). She scored multiple goals in four different games and posted career games against College of Saint Elizabeth on Sept. 7 with four goals and eight points and reached eight points with three goals and two assists against Yeshiva University on Sept. 8. Neild was named NEAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Sept. 9) after that New York/New Jersey trip where she tallied seven goals, two assists and 16 points.
Top-seed Penn St.-Berks (11-0 NEAC) swept the NEAC postseason awards. Penn St.-Berks sophomore forward Alexis Schoener was named NEAC Player of the Year, senior defender Karina Raykova was selected as NEAC Defensive Player of the Year, freshman forward Sara Hathaway was picked NEAC Rookie of the Year while head coach Adrian Munteanu was selected by his peers as NEAC Coach of the Year as the Nittany Lions prepare to host this weekend's NEAC tournament and go for a seventh straight conference title.
This is Gallaudet's ninth All-NEAC honor since the school joined the conference in 2010.
