WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team will participate in the third annual #PlayWithPride week, sponsored by the United Soccer Coaches LGBT & Allies Advocacy Group, on Saturday, Sept. 14, by wearing rainbow laces during its match against Penn St.-Berks at 3:15 p.m.
Teams across the country are showing their support for athletes and coaches of all sexual orientations and gender identities by wearing rainbow laces during the Third Annual Play With Pride Week during Sept. 16-22, 2019.
Support for Play With Pride comes from a variety of locations, including the United Soccer Coaches Foundation. Sustainability for this event is imperative for diversity and inclusion of coaches and players alike. Please consider a donation to Play With Pride to ensure its longevity in the future and to assist United Soccer Coaches with developing additional diversity and inclusion resources like their LGBT: Diversity and Inclusion Diploma (see link below).
