WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's volleyball team enters the 2018 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) tournament as the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 seed SUNY Poly at 6 p.m. in the Field House in the quarterfinal round.

The first 100 fans with a valid Gallaudet ID (students, faculty, staff) will receive a slice of pizza and a drink (soda/water). The doors open one hour before game time.

Gallaudet (16-16) defeated SUNY Poly (14-16) during the regular season with a 3-1 win in Cobleskill, N.Y. GU dropped the first set 22-25 before it won 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

The Bison are trying to win its eighth NEAC championship since it joined the conference in 2010-11. GU reached the NEAC championship last season, for the eighth consecutive year, but lost 3-1 to Morrisville State.

The Mustangs are the No. 1 seed and will host this weekends' semifinal and championship matches. The Gallaudet-SUNY Poly winner will face No. 1 Morrisville State (23-6) on Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon. The No. 6 seed Keuka College (11-18) vs. No. 3 Wells College (16-11) winner will face No. 2 seed Lancaster Bible College (20-8) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The semifinal winners will face-off in the championship on Sunday at 1 p.m.
